How to Clean Hearing Aids
Updated: Apr 26
One of the most common questions that I get as an audiologist is how do I properly clean and maintain hearing aids. It is very important to regularly clean your hearing aids daily and do the occasional deep clean when you notice the sound isn't as clear and crisp as it should be. Cleaning hearing aids will extend their lifetime. Wipe them down daily and deep clean them, which involves replacing the basket to prevent wax build up.
Below is a video explaining the hearing aid cleaning process in detail. I hope this helps you maintain your hearing aids but if you have any questions, please Contact Us for hearing aid assistance or to schedule an appointment for a hearing aid fitting.
